Based on theoretical studies and focusing on practical strategizing, CIPRS has taken in and successfully resolved more than 20 cases assigned by various institutes that include government agencies such as National Social Science Fund, the PRC Legislative Affairs Office of the State Council, the PRC State Intellectual Property Office, Beijing Information Office, Beijing Intellectual Property Office, Beijing Municipal Bureau of Copyright, China Mobile Communications Corporation as well as other private industries. CIPRS researchers have also provided valuable inputs for national policies over several IP rights and information laws throughout the years.
The publications of CIPRS include a journal entitled “IP Frontiers”(《知识产权前沿报告》), which reports most updated findings from IP researches and related academic works. Three textbooks have also been compiled by CIPRS: “Intellectual Property Laws” (《知识产权法》), “Electronic Commerce Laws”(《电子商务法》), and “Internet Laws”(《网络法》). These three textbooks are respectively published by Higher Education Publication, Chinese People’s University Press, and Tsinghua University Press.
